It was the Patrick Towles show early and often before a season-high crowd of 64,791 for Homecoming 2014. Towles set several career records including most yards (390) most touchdowns (2 rushing and 2 passing), longest rush (48 yards), total yards rushing (76) and total carries (23). LSU Wallops Kentucky: 41-3
It was a disaster from start to finish. LSU scored on their first two drives (1 TD and 1 FG) before returning a punt 67 yards for another score - all in the first quarter. Terrence Magee ran in two more TDs in the 3rd quarter to ice the victory.

The Streak Ends - Kentucky Over Vanderbilt 17-7
Thus ends the longest in-conference losing streak among FBS teams, and a huge monkey off of Kentucky's back. The Cats allowed Vandy only 139 yards of total offense, the fewest yards allowed in an SEC game since 1996. UK is now 3-0 at home for the first time since 2008.
After jumping out to a 17-7 lead in the first half, Kentucky didn't score at all in the second. I heard several theories incl... (MORE)
